Description: Obverse: Bust of Julian, facing r. draped, cuirassed, diademed, bearded. Reverse: inscription surrounded by laurel wreath surmounted by medallion with eagle.
Inscriptions: Obverse: C N FL CL IVLI HNVS P F I\VC (our lord Flavius Claudius Julian pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: VOT / X / MVLT / XX (prayers for 10 years of rule, more for the 20th anniversary). Mint mark: PCONST (mint of Arelate).
