Description:  Obverse: Bust of Theodosius, facing r. draped, cuirassed, diademed. Reverse: Emperor, cuirassed, with orb in l. hand and standard with cross in r. hand stepping on captive.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N THEODO SIVS P F AVC (our lord Theodosius pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: VIRTVS E XERCITI (virtue of the army). Mint mark: ALE A (Alexandria 1).
