Hannibalianus was a nephew of Constantine I, and was married to his cousin, Constantine's daughter Constantina in 335. He was styled as king of kings and of the Pontic people as a pupet king for Constantine just before the latter's death in 337. Later that year he was murdered with the compicity, if not on the orders of, his cousin and brother-in-law Constantius II. |
