Description: Obverse: Christ standing facing with nine stars around him in mandala, legend around. Reverse: Saint John standing l. at r. presenting banner to Grand Master kneeling r. at l., dressed as Doge of Venice, legends either side.
Inscriptions: Obverse: ·SIT T XPϵ· DATU· REGIS IST[…] (O Christ, let this same duchy which you rule be given unto you). Reverse: · F· Pϵ· DAUBUS·SON / S· IOANNI· (Pierre d'Aubusson to Saint John). Control mark: M P.

Notes: Reverse inscription foreshortened. CCS reckons the Grand Master's side the obverse, but this is to ignore the Byzantine antetypes.
