Letter from Robert L Baker to unknown recipient. Baker tells the recipient that he has had very ill health during 1882, but that he has been able to collect a few specimens today, and hopes to be able to make a larger and better contribution another year. He encloses a marked list, titled 'Plants in parcel sent, Dec 28th 1882' with their scientific names numbered 1-11. Found in Kitching Collection.

Robert L Baker (1820-1885) was a surgeon in Birmingham for 20 years before retiring to Leamington Spa. Member of the Jephson Gardens Committee.
