The certificate is contained in a grey tube, with a label reading ‘Ex Libris, John Galsworthy’ and ‘Hon. D.Litt Princeton U.S.A 1943’. The certificate is made from thin paper with the text in Latin written in black ink and is dated ‘MDCCCCXXXI’, 1931. The faint impression of a seal can still be seen at the bottom. |
