Handwritten postcard to Professor Yapp from H. S. Thompson about leaving his Continental Herbaria to Cardiff. Thompson has written to W (?) Hyde of Cardiff about sending some duplicates to Birmingham University, who has replied. Thompson hopes that Hyde will sent a good lot as there are a 'great many' (underlined) of duplicates but this may take some time as Cardiff first needs to arrange Thompson's collections which was dispatched (?) last Saturday. Thompson says that in due course Hyde will communicate with Yapp. Thompson also says that 'I grieve to tell you' that in the local newspaper he read that Darbishire (?) fell from his bicycle. There is a Bristol stamp on the front of the postcard dated 1927-11-07 at 9pm.
