Framed, handwritten dedication of Galsworthy’s most famous work to his wife, Ada. It is signed by the writer and dated 1921. The frame is black with no glaze. The are some original corrections made to the text by Galsworthy. The label on the back read ‘JG 1930. Holograph dedication by John Galsworthy of the ‘Forsyte Saga’ to his wife: Ada Galsworthy, which hung by her bed at Bronshill Court, Torquay until her death’.
