Birmingham Reference Library Lectures No. 5. The Botanical Books-(I.) by Prof. W. Hillhouse, M.A., F.L.S., (Mason Science College.) At the bottom of the front page it says the publisher and location of publication. Pages of lecture notes on botany in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Has a prepatory note on the front to remind the reader that while the subject is dealt with in historical fashion, the two lectures following do not pretend in any way to be a history of Botany and that for convenience the subject matter was divided into two portions, the first extending to the end of the eighteenth century, the second referring to nineteenth century books. Next to the lecture transcripts there are handwritten notes.
