These two Hausa fans have been decorated and produced as follows;
(1) Decorative bands are overlaid with a diagonal check pattern in black, maroon, green, tan and natural palm-leaf strips. It is held by a split palm-leaf stem handle.
(2) Natural palm-leaf strips with a single diagonal decorative band in green, crimson, black and brown. It is held by a split palm-leaf stem handle.
