Bronze side profile of a man (looking to viewer's left), cut off at the shoulder, wearing a blazer and high collar. Inscription below profile on white marble with cut frame in the marble around top and side of the description and profile.

This inscribed commemorative plaque was commissioned by the University of Birmingham after 1928.
