These slippers have been made in some sort of animal skin, indicated by the black and buff furred uppers, with the soles being made out of leather. The fact that the shoes have backs indicates that they are most likely womens shoes. Their tribal origin and country is unrecorded, although it is possible that they are Hausa. |
