This optical spectrometer is designed for use with a five-faced Pellin-Broca prism (shown in photo but not included in collection). The collimator and telescope are fixed for a deviation of 90º and the prism is turned by a calibrated micrometer drive to send different wavelengths into the telescope. Between the collimator and the prism is a table turned by a micrometer screw to accommodate an interferometer.
