Description:  Heavy block of grey metamorphosed sediment bearing a high proportion of brassy/yellow chalcopyrite, quartz and iridescent bornite. In black on a white paint ground label reads "CWVI." Descriptive list from Roan Consolidated Mines Limited in Box 1 states "CWVI. Bornite and chalcopyrite. Appears to be two varieties of chalcopyrite by cilour. C.F. chalcopyrite in quartz veining and chalcopyrite in "sulphidite" part of specimen,. (Sulphidite a definition coined to describe rocks containing more than 30% sulphide mineralisation)."
