Description: Obverse: Bust of Hadrian, r., laureate, draped on l. shoulder. Reverse: Salvs standing l., feeding snake that is coiled around altar, and holding a sceptre in her l. hand.
Inscriptions: Obverse: HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS (Hadrian Augustus). Reverse: SALVS AVGVSTI; COS III in exergue (Health of the Emperors; Consul for the third time).
Bibliography: RIC II 1st ed. 678
Notes: Obverse type is a variant, the bust is draped l. shoulder but this is not an option for RIC 678 in RIC 1st ed.
