Description: Obverse: Bust of Virgin, facing, nimbate and orans, wearing tunic and maphorion; two eight-pointed stars below bust. Reverse: Full-length figure of Tsar wearing stemma, divitision, collar-piece and jeweled loros of simplified type; holds in r. hand cross-within-circle on long shaft, and in l. hand anexikakia; stars in field.
