Description: Obverse: Head of Aemilian, wearing radiate crown and beard, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Aemilian, in military attire, standing facing l., sacrificing out of patera held in r. over tripod and holding spear in l., with standard to l.
Inscriptions: Obverse: IMP CƴES ALMILIANVS P F HVG (Imperator Aemilian Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: P M T-R P I P P (Head of the College of Priests, Tribune for the First Time, Father of the Fatherland).
Bibliography: RIC IV 18 var.
Notes: As opposed to the RIC type, the standard is on the l. of both, and not in between Aemilian and tripod. Possibly silvered.
