Obverse: Bird, possibly an eagle, duck, or peacock, with pelleting on wing, facing right, with axe.

Reverse: Inscription on five lines, trace remains of solid border.

Reverse: KE R… / …ωANNH / CΠAΘA / KANΔI/…AT (Lord help John spatharokandidatos).

Notes:  Oxydisation. Eruption of string-course. Struck centrally. String course aligned slightly below horizontal to centre.
