Handwritten letter from Phillips to Wilkinson W H regarding Leighton's Lichens. Phillips says that he is much obliged to Wilkinson by Wilkinson's favour of the 13th wish(?) and the trouble he has taken to enquire about the Leighton collection. Wilkinson has bought another collection and Phillips says that it is not worthwhile to buy these too, and that they will probably find a new owner as the seller does not want to break their set. Canonbury, Shrewsbury is printed in blue ink at the top of the letter.
