Handwritten letter to Professor Hillhouse from Rev. Augustin Ley. Ley was recommended to write to Hillhouse. Ley has a large herbarium of British plants, very many authentic specimens of critical plants. This herbarium is partly his own, and partly that of the late Rev. (?) H. (illegible). Ley is anxious to find a permanent home for the plants where they will be valued, used and cared for. Says that he is now ready to part with them.
