Blue-green faience chalice in a lotiform shape (slender, trumpet shaped bowl on footed stem). The chalice is undecorated, unlike many of the other lotiform chalices in the collection (ECM 811 and ECM 816, for example) and instead shows evidence of manufacturing errors, namely a large run of glaze down the exterior caused by direct application faience glazing.
