ECM 621 front thumb.jpg

Head from a figure of the god Osiris made of black steatite and crudely carved. The Osiris head is shown wearing the atef-crown with a uraeus and divine beard. The head shows the remains of a dorsal pillar.

Likely a modern forgery.

Notes:  ECM 619 and ECM 621 are two heads from stone figurines of Osiris wearing the atef-crown and divine beard. ECM 619 shows rather better workmanship than ECM 621. While similar in style, neither head joins the headless Osiris statuette, ECM 622.
