Description: Medium green faience mummiform shabti figure with plain lappet wig and beard, hands on chest holding pick and hoe, basket thrown over left shoulder; feet on square base, dorsal pillar. Single column of hieroglyphs down front naming Pakhaas born of Isis (Ranke 116.9, 3.18).
Collector's marks: Paper label on base of shabti with number 33 in black, paper label on top of feet of the shabti figure and back pillar in ink written 'Egypt'; in ink on base of back pillar the number 2033.
Cultural Significance: Shabtis of the late period are mould made with detailed modelling including the hieroglyphs in the text. They often take the form of mummies standing with a back pillar, carrying agricultural tools and wearing the beard of Osiris. During this period the group of shabtis in one tomb might contain a range of sizes and types of shabti some large with long full inscriptions and some small with short inscriptions.

Inscriptions / Translations:  The Illumined one, The Osiris, Pakhaas, born of Isis true of voice.

Notes:  Possibly to be considered to be related to shabtis with longer inscriptions of one of the Pakhaas of Samannud (Sebennytos) with a short/alternative version of the mother's name -- see the example at Emory. For Late Period shabti groupings see D. Thompson, A Shabti for Ahmose Born of Kheredankh, GM 265 (2021): 141-159.
