A prosthetic arm (up to just below the elbow); the forearm, which is hollow, is made of metal or plastic lined with brown leather. The attached hand is made of flesh coloured metal with curled and non-movebale fingers, covered with a brown leather glove. An orange button on the glove reads 'English Make'. There are two straps on the side of the forearm allowing for the adjustment of the diameter of the arm for the individual wearer. Straps at the end of the forearm allow for attachement to the individuals elbow/upper arm. One section of this strapping is covered with clear plastic and appears to have the name (?) 'S.Keefer/Teefer' stamped into it.
Notes: Part of the Leek Nursing Collection. Lighter weight aluminium prosthesis were first pioneered in 1912.
