A portable instrument widely used for measuring e.m.f.s of thermocouples and hence temperatures in furnaces, ovens etc. The normal range is up to 20mV with a scale resolution of 0.01 mV. The box includes a battery and galvanometer. All controls are on the grey enamelled top panel and operating instructions are in the lid.
