The instrument is for determining the frequency of electrical signals in the range 25 to 55 ‘periods per second’ (i.e. Hz). It contains 61 vibrating reeds tuned to frequencies in this range at intervals of 0.5 Hz. The ends of these appear at the front of the instrument, so that it would be simple to observe which reed responds to the applied signal. Cost in1909 £17.0.0
