From a collection of ushabti figures, three are made of wood and have their arms folded across their chest. X36 is made of a soft black stone, whilst X558 is of white-grey stone. X62 is of yellowish clay, with a semi-coarse, sandy texture. Of the wooden ushabti all bar X557 are decorated with hieroglyphs and bands with red, yellow blue and black paint used in the decoration. X558 has its left arm down by the side whilst the right arm is holding a flail and rests on the shoulder. X36 is carved around the skirt area of the figure with incised hieroglyphic text, which is picked out in white. X62 has its arms crossed over its chest; there is no visible trace of a flail or any decoration visible. Colour: Paint colours hard to match against Munsell Soil Colour Chart, paint 10R 4/6 (red), black 7.5 YR N3/ (very dark grey), white 10YR 8/1 (white), yellow: between 10YR 6/6, 6/8 (both brownish yellow) and 7/6 (yellow), blue difficult to match, near to GLEY 5G 5/2 (greyish green). Has areas of damage.
