This is a cathode to fit in a large cavity magnetron (possibly like P0898). It has a central heating filament surrounded by a thorium oxide coated cylinder. Such cathodes were assembled in Birmingham by two technicians named Cole and Scott-Smith. Inscriptions / Translations: MEGAWATT PULSED |
