This piece has been woven on a single-heddle woman's loom. It features a maroon machine-spun warp with fringed ends to finish it off. The blue machine-spun weft is faded in places, which gives a slightly 'shot' blue tinge. There are supplementary weft-float patterns including checks and lizard motifs in cream rayon. It was bequested by H.A. Lidderdale.
