Made up from five strips (13 cm wide) woven on a double-heddle man's loom. Warp-faced stripes of marled indigo yarn alternating with thinner lines of red and pink machine spun cotton. Selvedges of each strip in white machine spun cotton. Fringed ends. Weft of marled indigo yarn, locally spun and dyed (as in the warp) with supplementary weft-float patterns based on triangles and diamond shapes which alternate with lined rectangles. Brass curatin rings attached 44 cm from one end.
