This piece has been woven on a man's double-heddle narrow-strip loom. Both the weaves, warp and weft, have been balanced in indigo and white producing a checked and striped ground with supplementary weft-float patterns in a heavier handspun indigo yarn. The cloth itself is composed of 10 narrow strips, each 13 cm in width.
