Several smaller papers have been glued together to form the base for the meal scene depicted here. In a kind of fantasy Medieval world, the wealthy are being served at the table by servants carrying in plates on a large wooden door. Bagpipers are playing. On the back is a small drawing of a mask. Inscriptions / Translations: H.E.SCHWARZ.1937 (bottom right corner). Has a triangular Third Reich stamp on the back that says VON DER ZENTRALSTELLE FÜR DENKMALSCHUTZ ZUR AUSFUHR FREIGEBEN (back, top right). Notes: DSC0240 |
