Partially coloured in black and white. Carved for Europeans, as a non-traditional version of a sango worshipper's staff. Purchased in Lagos from the carver Thomas Ona of Ijebu Ode in the late 1930s. Bequested to the University by E.H. Duckworth in 1978.
