This complete set of mens clothing consists of: Cap (21 x 28 cm) (3) Robe (120 x 175 cm) (1) Trousers (90 x 71 cm) (2) Each item is woven in crimson, green, yellow, black and white striped handwoven cotton cloth strips, with gold rayon embroidery. It was given to John Danford by the Olowo of Owo, 1953. Danford lent the items to the University of Birmingham in 1964 and they were purchased in 1975.
