Image of Hazel Barbara Russell in graduation robes. Formed part of donor's estate, donated to the University in May 2015 alongide 2 graduation robes, blazer and caps. Notes: Hazel Barbara Russell graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BA (Hons) degree in General Subjects in 1951, and gained a Certificate in Education in 1952. She was awarded an MA in Theology in 1960. She was working as Assistant Mistress at Great Barr Comprehensive School in the 1960s and later as Deputy Headmistress at Hodge Hill Girls School, Birmingham. She was born on the 14th December 1930 and died on the 7th January 2015. |
