Description: Obverse: Bust of Virgin at centre, nimbate, wearing tunic and maphorion, with legend border surrounding. Reverse: Three-quarter-length figure of emperor on l. and of a saint; emperor, bearded and nimbate, wears stemma, collar-piece and jeweled loros of simplified type; r. hand on breast; the saint, beardless and nimbate, wears bishop's apparel and holds cross on chest.
