Description:  Obverse: Head of Maximian, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Jupiter, naked but cloaked, standing facing r., holding globe in r. and sceptre in l., facing Hercules, naked, standing facing l., holding Victory on globe in r. and club and lion-skin in l.; ᴗ E in field, between figures.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IHP C M HVR VHL HΠXIMIHHVS P F AVC (Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Valerius Maximian Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: IOV ET HERCV CONSFR HVCC (Jupiter and Hercules, Protectors of the Two Emperors). In Exergue: XXI
