Description: Obverse: Head of Philip, wearing a radiate crown, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Mars, helmeted, advancing facing r., holding spear in r. and trophy in l.; next to legs, l. Γ (assumed to be Greek numeral 3 as an officina mark).

Inscriptions: Obverse: IINIP PI_ILLIPI'VS MVG (Imperator Philip Augustus). Reverse: VIHT-VS HVGG (Courage of the Emperor).
