Lion Menucator duplicating machine with roller, bottles of ink. Also known as a mimeograph. A Duplicator made from a varnished wooden box which opens on its hinges into two equal halves. On the exterior of one half is a transfer image of a lion above and below which is printed 'LION MENUCATOR/ BRITISH/ No 4 MODEL'. Inside one half is an ink duplicator with removable ink roller. There is also a hinged wooden framed silk screen and wooden backing plate which fasten together with a metal clasp. Owned by donor's family and left to them by grandfather Leslie Arthur Taylor, part owner of Heathfield and Taylor brass foundry in Birmingham. The machine was used for Scout fliers and other local groups in the 1960s. Contains original roller, silk screen and two bottles of ink. See also WB-PC0037.
