Bisque-headed doll with articulated composition (sawdust and glue) body. Stamped on back of head: Armand Marseille 390a Germany A 2 M. Dark brown human hair. Glass eyes which close when lying down. Woollen vest, cotton petticoat with lace trimming, cotton pantaloons with lace trimming, woollen socks, black leather shoes with floral cut-out decoration, cotton dress with hooks and eyes, blue silk sash. Clothes appear to be original. Belonged to donor's mother.
