Handwritten letter from Marshall to Wilkinson W H thanking him for sending him the ichneumon from Brighton, a very common species of the feus Pamiscus. Marshall explains that the ichneumon in Wilkinson's cabinet which he had spoken of is likely to be an Ophiou, also very abundant. Also explains a caterpillar from Eastbourne which Wilkinson had described and the parasite emerging from the caterpillar. Discourages Wilkinson from sending one in the post as they are common in caterpillars everywhere. Address printed top right corner.
