Handwritten letter to Professor Hillhouse from Harold Stuart Thompson, Geneva. Thompson says that his herbarium is being stored at T. L. Bellatti & Sons in Upper Norwood, S. E. and was told by a friend who examined it last that the plants were dried in excellent conditions. Thompson says that if Hillhouse can indeed find the cost of the packing and carriage (estimate from Bellatti's), then he shall be pleased for the University to have his herbarium on loan and he guarantees not to remove it for at least a year. He should prefer to leave it in the Botany department for much longer on condition that he is free to consult and add to it and improve its arrangement.
