Wooden tool box containing woodworking tools, made by Harry Short while an apprentice carpenter. Several removable inserts which sit on internal beading. Short was involved in building the Haven Hotel, Sandbanks, Dorset between 1869 and 1881. Donated by a member of Birmingham Bee Keepers. Handwritten note in pencil on inside of box reads 'Sandbank Hotel Made this Box 1869'.
