Commemorative tissue for opening of University of Birmingham by the King and Queen, 7 July 1909. Describes event and route of procession, which passes down Edgbaston Park Road. Features line drawings of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. Printed by Mrs. S. Burgess, Artillery Lane, Bishopsgate. Glazed and edged with passpartout tape.

Purchased on recommendation of Martin Ellis, formerly Curator of Applied Art, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, who had placed it for sale with Smiths of Newent, Auctioneers. Auction took place on 27 January 2017. Purchase price £30.
