Handwritten letter from W. C. Worsdell to Professor Yapp. Worsdell has a South African herbarium for sale containing 1154 mounted specimens, and asks if it would be of any use to Birmingham's Botanical Department, knowing that they are interested in the South African flora and as advised by Prof. Weiss to do so. Worsdell mentions where he collected the plants in 1909 and 1912, and also says that he has a British herbarium up for sale. He is selling due to failed investments. Worsdell asks if there are any posts in Yapp's Department, 'any' being underlined twice, and if not - could Yapp give some advice.
