Description:  Obverse: Head of Diadumenian, bare, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Spes, walking facing l., holding flower in r. and raising her skirt with l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: M dPEL ANT DIADVMENIΛN CΛES (Marcus Opellius Antoninus Diadumenian Caesar). Reverse: SPES PVBLICA (Hope of the Public).

Bibliography:  RIC IV 117 (Macrinus)

Notes:  There appears to be no clear difference between RIC type 116B and 117. We have opted to identify this coin as 117 based on previous choices.
