Description: Obverse: Bust of Hormazd I, bearded, with hair over l. shoulder; round-cap crown, with korymbos above; single pellet band at neckline; single pellet border. Reverse: Fire altar, with two steps and base, two steps above, altar slab above; fire atop altar; altar flanked by attendants, crowned, holding swords/barsom, facing towards altar; single pellet border.
Inscriptions: Obverse: MZDYSN BGI AHRAMZD MLKAN MLKA AYRAN MN ČTRY MN YZDN (MAZDAYASNA BAGI AHURAMAZD MALKAN MALKA AYRAN MIN CHITRY MIN YAZDAN/Mazda-worshipping divine Hormazd, King of Kings of Iran, whose seed is from the gods). Reverse: NURA ZI AHRMZD (Fire of Hormazd)
