Description:  Obverse: Bust of Varhran I, bearded, with hair over l. shoulder; radiate-crown, with korymbos above; to l. of crown symbol of fravahar; single pellet border. Reverse: Fire altar, with two steps at base, two at top, with altar slab above; fire atop altar; attendants flanking the altar, facing away from altar; both figures crowned and holding spears; to r. of fire; single pellet border.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: MZDYSN BGI WRHRN MLKAN MLKA AYRAN MN ČTRY MN YZDN (MAZDAYASNA BAGI [WARHRAN] MALKAN MALKA AYRAN MIN CHITRY MIN YAZDAN/Mazda-worshipping divine Varhran, King of Kings of Iran, whose seed is from the gods). Reverse: NURA ZI WRHRAN (Fire of Varhran)
