Description:  Obverse: Bust of Hormazd II, bearded, with diadem falcon-headed crown, with pellet in beak, above this a korymbos, with diadem bands, hair in bunch over l. shoulder, single pellet band at neckline, single pellet border. Reverse: Fire altar, with single step at base, trapezoidal altar slab, ribbons extending down from altar shaft, with head and chest of figure (Shah) at top, holding ribboned diadem in r. hand and spear in l. hand; single pellet border.
