Description:  Obverse: Bust of Theodosius, facing r. draped, cuirassed, diademed. Reverse: Emperor, cuirassed, with crowning Victory on orb in l. hand raising kneeling figure with r. hand.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N THEODO SIVS P F ΛVC (our lord Theodosius pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: REPAR·TIO HEIPVB (re-establishment of the Republic). Mint mark: SMRB (mint of Roma).
